“The first thing I like to ask is: do you ever feel like the ball has a mind of its own—sometimes going left, sometimes right—and no matter what you try, nothing seems to fix it? The second question is: do you feel like you have to manipulate your swing just to keep the ball in play? If you answered yes to either of those, then there’s a pretty good chance your clubs are fighting against you.”
“Fitting can definitely help golfers of all levels, and where we like to draw the line is as soon as you’re hitting 5 out of 10 decent shots, and shoot anywhere in the high 90’s to low 100’s then you would definitely benefit by having your clubs evaluated to ensure they’re complementing the swing your trying to execute.”
“YES custom fitted clubs can be more expensive, and you can sometimes find better deals online, but those would all be considered off-the-rack options— and unfortunately off-the-rack options are designed to get you close and in order to unlock the club’s full potential we’ll need to optimize the build specifications to accommodate your swing – in the 15 years we’ve been fitting, we’ve yet to encounter a single golfer who didn’t need some form of adjustment.”
“It’s no secret, prices have increased, and we’re upfront with everyone—a full set of clubs can range anywhere from $3,000 to $5,500. Some of the ways we can keep costs down are exploring previous-year models that have been discounted; we can scale the bag down from 14 clubs to say 12 or 11; we can breathe new life into some of your existing clubs to make them play better; and lastly we can do a little at a time and focus on one area of the bag each year. Any of these approaches can ultimately control the cost.”
“No—we don’t mark-up our clubs like other big chain fitting establishments. What you see on the OEMs’ website is exactly what we charge. We have two small fees, a fitting fee and a build fee, that’s it. This covers our time to properly identify the best equipment for your swing using our vast fitting matrix, and to build each club to the specifications we identified. And just a quick note—nothing is ever truly free, so if someone offers a free fitting, or credits it back with purchase, they’re recovering the cost somewhere else.”
“Absolutely. Will it turn you into Tiger, Rory, or Scottie overnight? No. But it can turn bad shots into good ones—and good shots into great ones. The goal is to improve consistency, tighten dispersion, and, when done properly, distance often improves as a byproduct. At the end of the day, it’s a numbers game—8 out of 10 solid shots beats 5 out of 10 every time. On average, our customers report saving 5–10 strokes per round, with some seeing even greater improvement.”
“Every club we sell is backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, and we also stand behind our work with our ‘Make It Right’ program. We believe the only problem we can’t fix is the one we don’t know about. Through this program, our customers receive free lifetime tune-ups and adjustments—so there’s no need to guess or experiment on your own. Whether it’s loft and lie adjustments, loft sleeve or swing weight tweaks, or even a shaft change as your swing evolves, we’ve got you covered.”
